The Seven Moons of Jupiter

Aaaalso, diesmal ein Eintrag in Deutsch....

Ich werde - trotz des Wissens um meine sehr sehr beschränkten Make-up Künste - einen Beitrag zu Asus und Mrs. Elchs Make-Up Battle zum Thema "Pretty Planet" machen.

Warum? Alldieweil ich das Thema total toll fand. Da kann man ja so ziemlich alles machen, und auch in allen Farben. Außerdem hatte ich da spontan einen Einfall zu...

Gemacht habe ich "Jupiter". Und mein Jupiter ist GRÜN! :D
Warum ist mein Jupiter grün? Höchstwahrscheinlich weil bei Sailor Moon Sailor Jupiter Grün war... was weiß ich.
Außerdem hab ich Monde dabeigepackt (sind zwar nur 3, aber was solls....) Das hat echt mal Spaß gemacht! XD

Sailor Moon was - next to Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs - my favourite TV show of my childhood. I'm a true 80s child and I grew up with those "early" [early for Germany...] anime shows and I loved them!

But SAILOR MOON was my all-time favourite! <3

I have wanted to do a Sailor Moon fanart for ages but I never found the right model.
Now, Valvaris had offerd kindly to be my model, and since she is a fan of Bunny, I'll draw her, even though my favourite charakter was Rei! :D

Here goes a WIP of the picture....

I love the overall idea and the stock pic... but I'm not to sure about my own work.
I want to put a moon in the upper right corner but I don't know if I want a full  moon or a half-moon shape, if I want it to be a shape only or a shaded moon. I'm also unsure about the stars on the background and the background colour itself... I guess it should be blue like a night sky, no? Yes?

Some input would be nice.... but nobody reads this blog anyways! ;)

I finished the moth dancer picture, and it turned out nicely!
I would have never expected moths to be so nice to paint! I like drawing butterflies and hummingbirds, but I've never drawn any moths before. Their colour scheme is very pretty - all the browns, greenish tones, the black and white pattern... beautiful!

Make-up madness

Sooo, I'm in a total make-up frenzy at the moment! :D
I have subscribed to quite a large number of blogs and Youtube accounts centering around make-up designs, looks, and products. It seems to be very very inspiring to my artistic muses, so I think I'm going to make good use of it as long as it lasts...
